Steve Vigar
Once again, Steve has got his Charity head on and is ready to set sail once more on the Goodship Fishathon for the 4th time!A much bigger project has just been initiated for what Steve feels is a fantastic Charity and therefore he has brought out the big guns for this one, and, he's not afraid to use them.
New team, new venues, new Charity, new events and new targets, all combined will mean new headaches, stresses and strains, and that's just for Steve!!
But, he will Help Their Children Smile!
Spike Dewing
"oh yes!!!"....... Spike joins us for his second Fishathon(you mad fool), and is once again a very welcome inclusion to the team.
A larger than life character, and certainly larger than the chair he fell off during Fishathon3 (just ask Keeran!), he will add to the fun factor during this years event.
Spike is also running the Kings Lynn 10k as part of the Fishathon4 events, so we hope he will have enough energy left for the last event this time, and of course, the "wind down", and as one half of Southerys Chuckle Brothers BBQ Crew, we will need him.
James 'Shanks' Dewing
AHAA!! Son of Spike comes to his first Fishathon with a virginal enthusiasm that we WILL knock out of him!!
Being in the category of "youth of the village" we are looking to him to galvanise the younger generation into supporting this years project, but, not by having sponsored raves and stupid "boom boom" music!!
He will be responsible for the Football match we are planning and are hopeful he wont pick himself to play as a trip to the Hospital is not on the event list!!
He will be a valuable asset to the team, if he can cope with being away from his new love ;)
Kelly-Jane Erkin (KJ)
KJ arrives at her first Fishathon with many a string to her bow, and loads to offer (including Dan) ;)
Her tenacious and terrier like attitude will undoubtedly benefit the team and project alike.
One of her main tasks is to Project Manage, with Steve, the F4FF and we have high hopes and look forward to great things from East Anglia's Queen of entertainment. (15% commision please!!)
Dan Catt
The Balloon Man cometh!!
Partner of KJ and also a great and welcome inclusion this time around. We love you Dan xxA "model" citizen who will "blow" his own trumpet!, well balloons really.
We can expect full commitment, support and backing from "the quiet one", if his van makes it, heh heh.
Not a fisherman, but he can certainly belt out a shanty or 2.
Donna Marsh
Undoubtedly the lynch pin to the whole project as she'll keep Steve in check in her own delicate and subtle manner!
'Boggy' was responsible for the Nodding Buster last time out, we are hopeful that she can pull off an equally magnificent coup this time!. We're not sure how she made Paul O'Grady part with such a erm, lovely item, but, do it again, do it again!!
No doubt Reed Warbler and The Milky Bar Kid will be her little helpers again, so we can expect birdsong and chocolate everywhere, and I mean everywhere!!
David Pooley
David joins the gang for the first time and comes to us with a vast array of fund raising knowledge behind him as the Reels on Wheels guys will verify.
Looking at some of the pictures David has in his gallery I am sure that the 'cat' men amongst us will benefit from all the livebait he will catch, heh heh.
We are positive that with his knowledge and contacts, David can be a very big plus for HMS Fishathon on this occasion, and look forward to great things from Mr P.
