November update No1.

Hi guys...

Well loads has happened since the last update.

We now have 11 items for the auction/raffle, and some fantastic ones too!

We have had some positive contact from Dynamite Baits and Bait-Tech who have basically agreed to support us for the events. We still have some minor negotiating but I am more than hopeful of some great support from 2 of the leading companies in the angling world.

What I would ask is that we try and secure some appropriate prizes for both of the fishing events. Rods, reels, tackle, clothing etc etc, all and any will help us.

I have now recieved the first 2 deposits for the 48 and would now ask that those that are still wanting to join the challenge to send your deposits asap as I have to pay the lake deposit before Christmas.

Trophies have been agreed for both fishing events and will be ordered in a few days.

Flyers are in the process of being designed and am hopeful that they will be ready for distribution, again, before Christmas.

Prices for clothing etc is being sorted as I speak and am hopeful that, at least the team, shirts will be available asap.

Support and commitment from the team has been fantastic thus far and ask that we continue in that form. We can only make this the success it's shaping up to be with your efforts, and I ask you personally to keep going the way we are.

Hi all....

How y'all doing then?

Things FAT4 wise are progressing nicely and we seem to have gathered a lot of speed since my last update.

The first 2 deposits have now been paid, thank you Rod and Debbie.

Just a reminder that all deposits would be appreciated as soon as possible please.

Trophies have been sourced and will be ordered very soon, and prizes will be organised as and when possible.

hello FAT fans

helloooooo peeps....bet ya thought i had emigrated, well hard luck ;)
been busy trying to get busy but i'm back now and more happenings will happen very quickly, so keep em peeled all FAT lovers, I will be in touch again....later today probably!!

Unfortunately David P cannot now join us for the 48 hour, well, not for the actual fish itself.
However, he has very kindly volunteered to "bivvy up" with us and act as runner, weigher iner and general gopher for the duration!

Tomorrow, hopefully, see's the first meeting with the Lake owners. This is where I am hoping to be able to do the 48. The groundwork has been done by Rod Maplesdon, but Ive now got to finish off and secure what we really need for the 48 to be a success.

Knees are a knocking but I wont let us down.

Fabtastic news guys....we have been given official permission and go-ahead by the Parish Council to use the Playing Field and Football pitch for our Family Day.

I am so chuffed about this as it means we can start planning the day properly now.........

Have started on the mountains of admin needed for this project.

Main letter finished, just need it proof read, then I'll attach somewhere for you all to download and start 'begging'.

The Team is growing!!

The team is now begining to take shape, and although we are still a couple short, the new profiles have been started and can be viewed....

The Word spreads.

Interest abounds and the word is getting round now, but even with 9 months left we still need your help!

We have had a lot of positive interest in the last few days, as well as a bizarre offer of assistance?

Lake secured.

The Lake for the 5 hour fishing match has now been secured.

It will be held again at, Dents 2-Island Lake, Hilgay, Norfolk.
